With my final semester just starting, I haven’t had any time to read for pleasure. I’m currently reading book I wouldn’t normally read on my own time and that I’m most definitely going to be talking about on here once I get through them – if I ever get through them! Gotta love Sparksnotes.
A book I can’t stop raving about though, The Cellar by Natasha Preston. I haven’t ever been a big fan of thriller/suspense – I tend to get way too lost in a good book, which will literally give me nightmares sometimes! The Cellar though, was incredible. Absolutely incredible. As much as I hate not having any real time to read for pleasure during the semester, I could totally pick up another book by Preston and finish it in one sitting.
The Cellar is also the first book I did a really good job at not high lighting the day lights out of it. And I mean reeaaallllyyyyy good job, I didn’t high light a single quote that irked me, that spoke to me, that I found mind blowing, that just begged me to high light. Which sucks because I love analyzing quotes after I fall for them, because while I loved it when I was reading, it could mean something completely different once I look it over later.
But, as I mentioned above The Cellar is hands down one of my new favorite books! I can’t recommend it enough!!
